Experience
French: I am native of France in the west (Nantes) and lived there for 26 years. I can provide lessons on French writing, reading, speaking and listening. My French spelling is impeccable as well as my grammar and conjugation which can be very tricky sometimes. But there are numerous rules of thumb to help to avoid mistakes and achieve a perfect writing. I can also make the student work on sounds and accent which are very important when having a conversation. On a more fun note, I can teach a lot of things about French culture! I took the TOEFL and TOEIC exams so I know how to deal with foreign languages testing. They include listening, reading, writing and speaking sections. There are multiple-choice question, free-answer questions and writing assays. They are very close to what AP French requires for instance. I know pretty well how to deal with the stress with such foreign language exams. I can familiarize myself with any form of exams as I took a lot of them. I have been an au pair in New Jersey for 7 months and helped my host children (12 and 13 years old) with their French homework a lot (vocabulary, grammar, writing, pronunciation...). As a bilingual, I know that the more often you are exposed to the foreign language with the correct accent and grammar, the faster you will improve. I will give my lessons speaking as much French as possible and nicely encourage the student to express him/herself as well. It is a very good way to overcome possible shyness and become more assertive. Biology and Geology: I can tutor students from elementary school up to College education. During my education, I covered all major Biology and Geology topics with an emphasis on Ecology, Physiology and Molecular Biology. I conducted numerous educational workshops with children aged 7-18 on various scientific subjects: marine biology, terrestrial wild fauna, entomology, forensic, theory of evolution, botanical, geology, fossils... I have worked with children (7-18) since several years in educational summer camps.

Hobbies
I love traveling and discover new cultures. One of my dream is to go to Peru. I have a big passion for guinea pigs and later, I would love to have at least 6! I love cooking, even though I mostly know French cooking, I try to learn on Indian/Pakistani and Chinese cuisines. I love all activities related with nature: scuba diving, hiking, climbing... I did 11 years of ice skating.
